Developed an entire mental health platform for psychiatric out-patients

• Allows patients to maintain contact with psychiatrists through daily supportive messaging

• Implemented a secure and easy-to-use administrative UI for medical practitioners and researchers with 

• Integrated server-side analysis of the database at-a-glance

Assessed novel application methods of fluorescent viral vectors for in-vivo imaging in mice & established a cross-faculty collaborative effort (in conjunction with the Brain Rhythms Lab, Faculty of Science, Department of Psychology) in describing mesoscale astrocyte lactate signaling during naturalistic sleep using simultaneous calcium imaging and local field potentials.

• Several hundred hours of small animal handling and following detailed  surgical standardized operating procedures on the live mouse central nervous system

• Experience using a variety of anesthesia and analgesics (isoflurane, urethane, bupivacaine, buprenorphine, etc.)

• Developed a strong working knowledge of small animal physiology

• Worked conjointly with two diverse groups of experts from both the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Faculty of Science
