Hope Mission

Volunteering weekly helping meal prep, plating, and serving meals.

I spent the 2016-2017 academic year volunteering with the Tegler Youth Centre. The centre functions as both an after-school drop-in and provider of a range of programs for 'at-risk' kids and youth in the North East corner of Edmonton (Beverly/Abbottsfield neighbourhoods).  I assisting in delivering programs such as soccer tournaments, rock wall climbing, and Smash Bros competitions. Certainly one of my most impactful and rewarding volunteer opportunities to date, I had a chance to witness and be a positive influence in the day-to-day lives of dozens of children and youth.
